What to be aware (and wary) of when purchasing sign-ups....

Joined a MLM or home business recently?? Don't know how on earth you're going to get that down line built??

Well.............appears that this is not as difficult as it sounds because ....... GOOD NEWS!!!

.....sign-ups can be purchased!!

There are any number of businesses out there offering sign-up packages for quite reasonable prices. There are packages for global sign-ups (sign-ups from anywhere in the world), packages for country specific sign-ups (sign-ups in some countries such as the US are better value because more of them are signing up because they are actually interested in your offer and not because they're being paid to do so but more on that below)....

However, there are a number of things you really do have to watch out for if you choose this method of building your down line. I've listed the 3 main types of sign-ups available and exactly what they are:

The first type is the Web Generated Guaranteed Sign-Up.

This type of sign-up is basically entered into your sign-up page using data collected from online surveys where people have indicated that they are interested in trying a few free to join home business programs. Their details are then manually keyed into your sign-up page and you receive notification that you have a new sign-up. However, when you contact them most of these people will obviously tell you that they never signed up, are most likely not even interested in your program and could well become cranky that you've contacted them about it (which makes their chances of ever joining your program even if they were tempted to do so even more remote).

The second type of sign-up is the Incentivized Guaranteed Sign-Up:

This is a rather sneaky type of sign-up because many vendors (the majority if what I've read is correct) neglect to mention that they're offering people incentives to sign up for programs like yours. These incentives are usually credits, money, vouchers, gifts, rewards etc. This means that the sign-ups you get from these vendors have virtually no interest in your program. Sure, if you have a really good welcome letter and a great sales pitch you may be able to persuade some of them to take a serious look at your offer once they've signed up (which is no doubt the way these vendors justify offering these types of sign-ups) and subsequently take it further. In my experience though you would have to be very lucky however.

The third type, and the type you really should be making sure you get, is the Real Time NON Incentivized Guaranteed Sign-Up :

These sign-ups have been able to CHOOSE YOUR PROGRAM from a specific list of featured programs that are available to them. They are targeted sign-ups who not only have been actively looking for great opportunities like yours but have specifically chosen which ones to join. They have been able to visit each offer site to check them out so when they do sign up they have a pretty good idea of just what they're signing up for and they are signing up because they genuinely want what you're offering.

My Top Tips

  • make sure you carefully check what type of sign-ups the vendor you're considering purchasing from is guaranteeing you're going to get
  • make sure you have a great welcome letter / sales pitch to offer any purchased sign-ups because you won't know which they are when they first sign up
